YOUNG ARCHITECTS FOR CHANGE

Canada’s largest architecture conference at the Sheraton Wall Centre Vancouver.

From May 5 – 8, 2026, Young Architects for Change (YAC) had the privilege to attend the Royal Architecture Institute of Canada (RAIC) Conference on Architecture at the Sheraton Wall Centre Vancouver. The annual RAIC Conference is Canada’s largest and most impactful gatherings of the nation’s leading architects, designers, organizations, and companies. Together, the conference fostered an environment for connection and learning.

We also had the opportunity to have our own booth at the RAIC. Where we broadened our connections with industry professionals and also advertised our initiatives.

Attending the Studio Crawls, our team went to visit some of BC’s most innovative architecture firms. Including Diamond Schmitt, Perkins & Will, Stantec, AFBC, and more! We really appreciate all the work that have been dedicated to these studio crawls. A great way to explore how leading architecture firms run and operate.

We look forward to work with our new partners we met from the RAIC Conference, and hope to attend again next year!
