Community Event at Surrey City Hall
On March 13, 2026, Young Architects for Change participated in the annual Surrey Steps Up event hosted by the City of Surrey. This event is a way for student-led organizations to connect with youth around Metro Vancouver, while highlighting their purpose as an organization.
This year, it is YAC’s second time here at Surrey Steps Up. We used this event as an opportunity to advertise our Spring Workshops, both at the Marpole-Oakridge Community Centre and the HR Macmillan Space Centre.
With many activities and students learning about how young people are changing their communities, we at YAC are always excited to attend this event.
Thank you to the City of Surrey and the team at Surrey Steps Up for hosting yet another great and impactful event. We look forward to hosting more activities and initiatives at Surrey!
