Free Architectural Workshops for Youth

Design Explorers is a youth dedicated workshop where our team at YAC educates elementary students about design and architecture.
Currently, our Design Explorers Workshop have been taught at various sites including Marpole-Oakridge Community Centre, Hillcrest Community Centre, and Fleetwood Community Centre. All of our workshops are free to the public, as we fundraise to host these events.

These workshops allow us to teach future designers about basic design process, light, shapes, colors, and how we interact with our built environment. Hosting Design Explorers is an opportunity to connect with our community, sharing our skills, while learning from the young designers!
Some of our Design Explorers Workshop topics include:
- Design Your Dream Room
- Design Your Dream City
- Design your Skyscraper

We want to thank all organizations especially our partnerships with the venue for allowing us space to host these workshops.
Here at YAC, we always look for opportunities to connect with the broader community through design and architecture. With our Design Explorers Workshops, we look forward to hosting may more!

Host: Young Architects for Change
